Assistant/Staff Row Acquisition Agent

Immediate need for a talented Assistant/Staff Row Acquisition Agent. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Raleigh, NC (Onsite).

Pay Range: $31 - $33/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in analysing, preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses.
  • Assist in research and collection of real property related project documents.
  • Assist in translation of data from Right of Way documents into the stakeholder management database.
  • Assist in quality assurance reviews of stakeholder management database entries from Right of Way field agents.
  • Assist with compiling technical data to be presented to Right of Way project team.
  • Assist with preparation of permit applications for the project team.
  • Assist in preparation of project status, technical, and acquisition reports for the project team.
  • Assist project teams on document preparation and control, meeting agendas and other various project related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all policies and standards.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Must Have Skills: Must have min required experience in Right of Way, Land Acquisition, reviewing agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses.
  • Industry experience within Construction or Engineering Infrastructure, Transmission & Distribution, Electric Utilities, Oil & Gas, Consulting Services or related sectors.
  • Candidate MUST have a NC Real Estate License before they can start.
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related degree from an accredited program and some relevant experience.
  • OR Associates degree in Business Administration or related degree from an accredited program + min 2 yrs relevant experience.
  • OR High School Degree + min 4 yrs relevant experience is required.
  • (Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.)
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related degree from an accredited program and min 4 yrs relevant experience.
  • OR Associates degree in Business Administration or related degree from an accredited program + min 6 yrs relevant experience.
  • OR High School Degree + min 8 yrs relevant experience is required.
  • (Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.)
  • Prior internship and/or related consulting experience Preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of general real estate law and real estate title work preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
