An established regional general contractor is seeking an Estimator to support its preconstruction team on commercial and multiโ€‘family projects. This officeโ€‘based role offers handsโ€‘on estimating exposure, strong mentorship and clear longโ€‘term career progression for an earlyโ€‘career construction professional. Client Details Our client is a long standing partner in the Denver Metro area. They are well known for their retention, culture, and relationships internally and externally. Description Key Responsibilities As the Estimator, you will support the preconstruction and estimating function, reporting into senior estimating leadership and collaborating closely with project management. Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and multiโ€‘family construction projects Perform accurate quantity takeโ€‘offs from drawings, specifications and other project documentation Support subcontractor and supplier outreach, including bid solicitation and tracking Assist with bid levelling, scope reviews and pricing analysis under the guidance of senior estimators Maintain and update estimating databases and historical cost information Review plans, specifications and addenda to ensure full and accurate scope coverage Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation for tender submissions Profile The Successful Applicant For the Estimator role, we are seeking: 2+ years' experience in construction estimating, project engineering or a related role (internships welcome) A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline (preferred) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Fundamental understanding of construction methods, materials and terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam or Onโ€‘Screen Takeoff (advantageous) Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fastโ€‘paced, officeโ€‘based environment Job Offer What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 - $115,000, depending on experience Comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance 401(k) with company matching Paid time off and recognised holidays Structured training, mentorship and clear longโ€‘term career progression within estimating and preconstruction The opportunity to develop your career with a stable contractor known for repeat business and longโ€‘standing client relationships If this opportunity aligns with your background, we'd love to hear from you.
