Job description

Colonial Pharmacy is 15,000 sq. ft. store established in 1967, with the modo “If Colonial doesn’t have it, you don’t need it”. Located in the charming town of New London NH, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Dartmouth - Lake Sunapee area. Work and play in a 4-season vacation destination with its many lakes, hiking and skiing. New London is located 1 hour from the ocean, mountains, and 2 hours from Boston.

This job is a gem of an opportunity! Colonial Pharmacy is a busy, cutting edge, independent pharmacy providing classic pharmacy services as well pharmacist provided clinical services. It is well staffed with pharmacist over-lap, has technologies such as two filling robots, Icon, PioneerRx, and a FlavoRx FillMaster. There are benefits such as vacation time, 401k with generous employer match. Paid health insurance premiums and 6 paid holidays a year.

The pharmacy manager has been an owner/operator for over 9 years. He will be on hand to oversee the management but is looking for a staff pharmacist to focus on expanding the compounding business and expanding into clinical services.

An ideal pharmacist will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be hard working, efficient, self-motivated, have excellent attention to detail, great customer service and people skills. The primary tasks of a new pharmacist will be to work with the owner/PIC and staff pharmacists verifying scripts, providing consultations, interfacing with providers and problem solving as needed. Additional duties will include vaccines, and management of MTM, Outcomes and Equip and Med sync programs.
