We’re looking for driven and upbeat GE LOTO Certified Technicians to join our dynamic team. You’ll have the opportunity to work with outstanding leadership and field teams, contributing to the operation and maintenance of wind turbines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily morning safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and tools for safe use.
  • Engage in Job Safety Analysis to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Inspect the exterior and physical integrity of wind turbine towers.
  • Climb towers to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain turbine equipment.
  • Test electrical components and systems, along with mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical malfunctions.
  • Service underground transmission systems, wind field substations, and fiber optic sensing and control systems.
  • Replace worn or malfunctioning components as necessary.
  • Follow maintenance manuals and standard operating procedures for wind turbine maintenance.
  • Complete and validate written and electronic progress reports.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the end of each day.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Understand, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all mechanical, hydraulic, braking, and electrical systems of wind turbines.



Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • GE LOTO Certification required.
  • Minimum of one year of related maintenance experience.
  • GWO BST, BTT, and ART certificates preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working around heavy equipment preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with no major violations in the last five years.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team-driven attitude with the ability to work on a diverse team.
  • Proficient in using technology apps and devices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights of at least 260 feet with tools and equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Capable of entering and exiting confined spaces for accessing mechanical parts.
  • Must wear all required personal protective equipment.
  • Flexibility to work beyond normal operating hours as determined by business demands.
