As a Product Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling Maternal Infant Care equipment to new customers and maintaining relationships with existing accounts in the Minneapolis territory.

Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Covered products include the GEHC fetal monitor, warmers, incubators and supporting equipment.
  • Ability to support customers post-sale is key to continued success and growth of business.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree & 3 years of experience; OR High School Diploma/GED & 6 years of experience; OR Bachelors Degree & a graduate of GE HealthCare CLP
  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to decision makers.
  • Must live in the territory and be willing to travel within the territory (Minneapolis preferred).

Desired Characteristics
  • 3 years capital sales experience and capital budget process knowledge.
  • Prior sales experience within hospitals. Ideally experience within Labor and Delivery units and NICU.
  • Experience working with clinical and biomedical stakeholders.

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
