Job description

Job Description Summary
As Staff Engineer - Advanced Manufacturing, you will serve as a technical focal for rotating parts manufacturing and will support one of four core business areas: Small Turbine Disks; Medium Turbine Disks; Shafts and Spools; Seals. In this role, you will lead and develop advanced manufacturing solutions across both current-state production and future-state capability building, partnering closely with NC Programmers, CMM Programmers, and Methods Planners to drive CNC programming, inspection programming, process development, and project execution. You will help mature concurrent technologies, support NPI, new technology, and new equipment implementation, and lead larger-scale manufacturing projects that improve production readiness and performance. This role also offers the opportunity to influence the New Product Development Center by developing and proving out new processes with a dedicated team before transferring them into production cells.
Come and elevate your career in a facility that combines a rich tradition of aviation technology with a deep commitment to the future of flight. The GE Aerospace manufacturing site in Lynn designs, produces, assembles and tests military and commercial aircraft engines and components. With 1.6 million square feet of manufacturing space, we're making a huge contribution to the future of flight. And, considering that the very first jet engines were born here in 1942, we clearly are the career home of people who are deeply knowledgeable about building quality engines. What's more, GE Aerospace has invested more than $100 million in our facility in the last five years alone.
