Product Master Data Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Wayne, PA (Hybrid/Onsite)
Pay: $25-$28/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and data-driven Product Master Data Specialist to support the management, accuracy, and synchronization of product and pricing data across internal systems and retail partner platforms.
This role will play a key part in maintaining product catalogs, ensuring data integrity, and supporting cross-functional teams including supply chain, sales, e-commerce, and IT. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, has strong Excel skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage product master data including price lists, item specifications, and catalog details
  • Oversee new item setup within internal product management (PIM) and ERP systems
  • Ensure accurate publication of product data to warehouse management systems and retail partners
  • Monitor and maintain data accuracy across Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) platforms
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure catalog completeness and data integrity
  • Support data synchronization processes and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Act as a subject matter expert in product data systems, including PIM platforms and retail publication requirements
  • Collaborate with e-commerce and IT teams to ensure consistency across systems and troubleshoot data issues
  • Assist with retail item publications and ensure timely updates for new or modified products
  • Provide operational support for updates such as item catalog changes and EDI connectivity
Additional Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including sales, supply chain, and operations on data-related initiatives
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across data management and operational workflows
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-2 years of experience in data management, supply chain, inventory, or CPG-related environment preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, organization, reporting)
  • High attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy and organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with data synchronization tools (e.g., 1WorldSync), PIM systems, or catalog management is a plus
  • Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or retail operations is a plus
