CHENEGA BASE & LOGISTICS SERVICES, LLC
Ft Rucker, AL
The Production Control Clerk is responsible for collecting, editing, and submitting maintenance data.Compiles and records production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production, performing any combination of the following duties: Compiles and records production data from such documents as customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets, following prescribed recording procedures and using typewriter and other devices.
Responsibilities
  • Performs the full spectrum of Logistics Information Systems (LIS), Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-Army) with GCSS-Army certificates of training, related to position.
  • Processes equipment and parts within a maintenance facility for repairs. Initiate, record, and complete purchase request documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors in accordance with the FAR. Familiarity with maintenance management/production control; work order DA Form 2407 and hand receipts. Familiar with government and defense department accountability, associated records keeping policies, and procedures and quality assurance practices.
  • Compiles material inventory records and prepares all requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies to include, but not limited to, Vendor Repair Parts, Vendor Contract Repairs, Bench Stock, Shop Stock, and Petroleum Products (POL).
  • Input equipment faults into GCSS-Army from a variety of manual and electronic maintenance forms to include, but not limited to, DA Form 2407 Maintenance Request, DA Form 2404 / DA Form 5988-E Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet; ensure the upkeep of all equipment faults and status.
  • Maintains manual and automated records for requisitioning, receiving, and issuing of supplies, repair parts and equipment. Maintain and updates DA Form 1687's for units / customers using LRC Maintenance services.
  • Writes production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats.
  • Provides equipment status upon request to supported units / customers, transfer equipment maintenance data by diskette, or manual methods.
  • Maintains files of documents used and prepared. Compiles from customer orders and other specifications detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products.
  • Prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.
  • Charts production, using chart, graph, or pegboard, based on statistics compiled for reference by production and management personnel. Sorts and distributes work tickets or material to workers.
  • Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling very heavy parts and loads. Perform the full spectrum of Logistics Information Systems (LIS), Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-Army) application software.
  • Performs all The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) and dispatching operations and track scheduled services using Logistics Information Systems (LIS) GCSS-Army to ensure LBE equipment services remain in tolerance.
  • Assists Army Oil Analysis Program Coordinator upon request to printout Army Oil Analysis Request form for equipment requiring an oil sample when directed by AOAP lab.
  • Prepares and distributes monthly Service Due Schedules as requested that will reflect backlogged services and services that are due in the month of the upcoming period.
  • Performs the services in accordance with the standards to include, but not be limited to, Scope of Work (SOW) & Performance Requirement Statement (PRS) under Prescribe Work Statement (PWS) and all other applicable publications.
  • Provides preventative maintenance for all equipment associated with the performance of maintenance where applicable. Maintain shop housekeeping and physical image of shop.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School graduate or GED
  • Minimum three (3) years related work experience.
  • Completion of Wave 1 and Wave 2 (New Equipment Training) GCSS-Army training related to position.
  • Ability to past background check
  • Maintain a valid state-issued Driver's license.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • Candidate must possess a working knowledge of the Logistics Information Systems Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-Army) application software.
  • Candidate must have knowledge of standardized maintenance regulations.
