Job description

The Production Control Clerk must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and maintenance management processes, related regulations and is required to ensure effective execution of the function. The Production Control Clerk must possess operational skill and knowledge of the automated supply systems utilized. May perform any combination of the following duties: compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into Army systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
  • Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity.
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate and compliant material records.
  • Additional tasks include writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products.
  • This Clerk also sorts and distributes work tickets or material and may compute wages from employee timecards and post data on records used for preparation of payroll.
  • Monitor equipment requiring maintenance by creating evacuation work orders, coordinating the transfer of equipment to the repair shop, and ensuring proper receipt once repairs are completed.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; Associate's in logistics or supply is a plus!!
  • Must have GCSS-A experience (GCSS-A Certification).
  • Must have the ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC.
  • Must have the ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
  • 2-3 years production control experience.
  • Must have a Real ID.
  • Must have a valid Texas driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • U.S. Army 92-series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent preferred.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must be able to obtain Tier1/ NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
  • Basic proficiency in the English language (reading and writing).
  • Must receive a favorable background check and drug testing results.
  • Employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to travel within the United States as required. This position may require up to 25% travel.

Physical requirements & Work Environment:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform routine standing, walking, bending, and reaching tasks in warehouse and field environments.
  • Must also meet all physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties, including working in extreme heat or cold, high, or low humidity, blowing sand and dust, confined spaces, heights, and other inclement weather conditions.
  • This position involves working both indoors and outdoors, periodic overtime, and exposure to heat, dust, cold, and adverse weather conditions.

  • Hourly Wage: $31.39 USD
