Torch Technologies is seeking an Army TMDE Logistics Analyst - Mid Level to join a team providing comprehensive logistics, sustainment, and lifecycle support for Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). This position supports Army sustainment policies, calibration readiness, and accurate data across authorized logistics systems.
As an Army TMDE Logistics Analyst - Mid Level, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
  • Lifecycle Sustainment - Execute provisioning, replacement planning, and supportability assessments for TMDE assets.
  • Obsolescence & DMSMS Analysis - Identify end of life risks, evaluate vendor data, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Army Logistics Systems - Maintain accurate records in GCSS Army, AESIP, LIW, and other authorized systems.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting - Prepare sustainment reports, readiness metrics, trend analyses, and leadership briefings.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Ensure all actions align with AR 750 43, AR 710 2, DA PAM 750 8, and applicable TMDE policy.
  • Stakeholder Coordination - Collaborate with PM TMDE, TMDE Support Centers, Army units, and vendor partners.
  • Attention to Detail - Ensures accuracy in data, documentation, and reporting.
  • Analytical Thinking - Evaluates complex sustainment and obsolescence issues.
  • Problem Solving - Develops practical solutions to readiness or supportability challenges.
  • Communication - Interfaces effectively with military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
  • Technical Proficiency - Understands TMDE requirements, calibration cycles, and sustainment processes.

Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field. OR equivalent experience in Army logistics, TMDE operations, or calibration sustainment
  • 5+ years of related experience in the logistics field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Working knowledge of DMSMS, lifecycle indicators, and vendor supportability data
  • Proficiency with DST, AESIP, LIW, or equivalent logistics systems
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, calibration requirements, and engineering documentation
  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing large datasets
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting PM TMDE, TMDE Support Centers, or Army calibration laboratories
  • Familiarity with metrology concepts or ISO 17025 environments
  • DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics Level I/II or DMSMS Practitioner certification
  • Experience with Army acquisition or sustainment planning processes
