The GCSS-Army / SAP Sustainment SME will provide authoritative functional interpretation of GCSS-Army, SAP ECC, and related G4 data. You'll translate Army operational questions into data requirements and ensure dashboards, applications, and AI/ML models accurately reflect Army business rules.

  • Validate dashboard KPIs and analytical measures.
  • Validate AI/ML model features and forecasts against operational realities.
  • Review and validate application workflows.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between analytical results and source-system records.
  • Explain data latency, missing data, status codes, units of measure, organizational relationships, coding practices, and process exceptions.
  • Participate in requirements, data-design, model-review, dashboard-review, and acceptance sessions.
  • Support user documentation and knowledge transfer.
  • Help prioritize analytics and AI use cases according to Army operational value.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Active final Secret clearance.
  • Direct, hands-on GCSS-Army experience.
  • 7+ years supporting Army logistics, sustainment, maintenance, supply, property, readiness, ammunition, distribution, or financial operations.
  • 3+ years of direct GCSS-Army or SAP ECC experience.
  • Functional Army sustainment expertise.
  • Ability to interpret GCSS-Army/SAP data fields, transactions, statuses, relationships, and business rules.
  • Substantive experience in at least two of the following:
    • Supply and inventory
    • Maintenance and equipment readiness
    • Property accountability
    • Financial management
    • Shop stock and bench stock
    • Distribution or transportation
    • Ammunition or NLAC-related operations
  • Experience reviewing GCSS-Army reports, extracts, transactions, or data for operational decision support.
  • Ability to explain source-system limitations, data timing, status codes, units of measure, organizational relationships, and business-rule exceptions.
  • Availability for recurring requirements and validation sessions.
