What You’ll Need

  • Valid Georgia teaching certificate or eligibility through GaPSC provisional certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field from a GaPSC-approved college or university
  • Prior teaching experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GCPS Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS), instructional practices, instructional technology, teaching strategies, diagnostic assessment techniques, IDEIA requirements, and differentiated instruction and assessment strategies
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, collaboration, classroom management, and building effective relationships with students, parents, administrators, colleagues, and other stakeholders
