As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Gated Community  in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. In this driving post, you will perform routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will make a meaningful impact every day.

Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift 

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at a residential location, verify access permissions, and document visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to site leadership and/or local emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, property-related concerns, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
  • Communicate clearly with residents, guests, management, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding access control activity, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
