Join Our Team at Parfait Paris in Gaslamp!

Are you passionate about French Cuisine, Desserts and Croissants ? If so, we want you to be a part of our vibrant team at Parfait Paris in Gaslamp, San Diego CA! Located in the heart of Gaslamp in San Diego , we are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and serious Café Manager to help us deliver a top-notch dining experience to our valued customer


Cafe Manager responsibilities include scheduling shifts for baristas and wait staff, monitoring daily expenses and revenues and doing the weekly inventory. To be successful in this role you should have work experience with various roles in coffee shops, restaurants and Back of the house (kitchen). Also, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays.


Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn our cafe into a favorite local spot.


POSITION AVAILABLE NOW- MUST HAVE WEEKDAYS/HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS AVAILABLE

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe with a total of 15 employees (mix of part time and full time)

- Training new team members

-Maintain a well working store by ensuring the equipment audit and maintenance

- Understand company quality standard and make sure the store is respecting it

- Incorporate upselling system

- Understand the labor cost/percentage and schedule accordingly 

- Do the weekly inventory (like packaging, wines, cleaning supplies...)

- Ensure all shop areas are clean and tidy 

-Resolve any call out/call sick by finding cover, or cover if needed

- Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service

-Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation

-Must be able to work at the Back of the house if a cook is calling out


Qualifications:

- Work experience as a Cafe Manager

-Must have experience in the Back of the house

- Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines

- Good math skills

- Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team

- Customer service attitude

- High school diploma

- Additional certification (e.g. in Business Administration or Hospitality, Food manager license) is a plus
