Job description

Altitude Sky Lounge is seeking an experienced Cocktail Server to join their team! Located on the rooftop of the San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter hotel, Altitude is a fast paced environment with an energetic atmosphere and spectacular views.
This position is part time. This position pays $19.00 hr. Overtime eligible.
Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week upt to 5 as needed. Must be able to work Wednesdays and Thursdays and have flexibility to work Fridays, and Saturdays. Shifts can start as early as 4pm and as late at 2am. During Baseball season and for special events, shifts can start as early as 1pm.

Job Duties:
  • Greet guests in a timely, friendly manner
  • Walk throughout bar during shift to ensure all guests have been served, take all beverage and food orders and deliver as appropriate
  • Demonstrate proper knowledge of food and beverage menu items and upsell when possible
  • Itemize bills correctly and ensure proper payment
  • Maintain constant communication with Bartenders and Beverage Ambassadors to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales; report all issues to shift supervisor
  • Assist in bar area when necessary
  • Clean and restock service items
  • Follow all appropriate and required steps of service according to the Altitude Sky Lounge policies and procedures
  • Perform all side-work duties as assigned
  • Maintain a polished appearance and positive attitude
  • Always dress with a smile.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a cocktail server in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to pass background check
