What You Will Learn:
The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team at L'Oréal USA drives sustainable value growth for the Consumer Products Division (CPD) through Price, Promotion and Mix optimization. RGM partners with brands like L'Oréal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, Thayers, NYX Professional Makeup, and essie to understand market and consumer dynamics. Team members bring diverse expertise in market research, analytics, finance, and marketing, with a shared focus on implementing data-driven and business-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for the development and implementation of the promotional strategy across all brands and channels for CPD, enabled by building strong relationships with Brand, Sales, and Finance teams. Key responsibilities include:
Identification of RGM initiatives to drive profitable growth
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior sales leadership, division executives, and global RGM leadership.
  • Evaluate promotional spend and measure Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Plan, consult, andoptimizenational promotional strategy & spendacross accounts
  • Strategize the role of each promotionthrough a shopper lens,connectingpromotionobjectivesback tomutuallyaligned brand objectives
  • Lead team ofexpertsexecuting promotional strategy
  • Coordinate and drive strategic alignmentand executionwithsales teams

Utilize multiple data sources to develop holistic business strategies
  • Conduct financial modeling to ensure strategies benefit consumers, retailers, and L'Oréal USA.

  • Analyze syndicated data to assess market trends and competitivelandscape.
  • Develop dashboards and tools to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
  • Use consumer research to help develop promotion recommendations using methodologies like Choice-Based Conjoint and Max Diff Scaling.

Background & Experience
  • 8-10 years in revenue management, strategic consulting, or commercial strategy roles within CPG or beauty.
  • Hands-on experience with syndicated data sources (Nielsen, IRI) and primary consumer research.
  • Priorexperiencemanagingan internal or contract team.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Understanding ofretailer promotion strategy,consumer pricing,and product financials.
  • Experiencebuilding tools to help streamline analysisprocesses
  • Experience presenting complex analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage and guide junior analysts in their work.
  • Educational background in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Marketing.

Nice to Have:
  • CPG industry experience with a strong working knowledge of scanner and promotional data.
  • Familiarity with development of key metrics such as promotional baselines, ROI, and promotion mix modeling
  • Knowledge of discrete choice modeling and consumer research methodologies.
  • Brand P&L experience, including financial modeling.
  • Understanding ofmarket trends and competitive landscape.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
