Job description

Sohn Linen Service is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Member to join our Garment Department. You will be working as a team to ensure customer garments are always in exceptional condition through quality inspection. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

Hours of work: The hours of work depend upon production requirements. Additional mandatory overtime may be assigned which includes weekends. Two 10-minute breaks are provided, one morning break and one afternoon break. An unpaid 30-minute meal break is provided.

Job duties:

  • Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations
  • Organize garments by route and stop number
  • Store garments until shipment back to the customer
  • Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards
  • Prepare garments that require poly bagging/wrapping
  • Follow all safety policies and medical guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management

What we’re looking for:

  • High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for at least an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.
