Job description

Catering Kitchen Staff - entry level 

Part Time - Events Friday & Saturday's (some Sunday's). 

Catering season: April - November 

Shift is typically 2 PM - 9 or 10 PM (varies based on event timing)

Overview: Kitchen staff primary function is to execute all aspects of food service, under the direction of the Party Chef, in a variety of off premise settings. Execution includes food preparation, turnout, and kitchen breakdown as well as assisting in any way deemed necessary to ensure a successful catering event.


Responsibilities:

  • Pack and load truck with food and kitchen supplies pre and post event
  • Assist with inventorying food and kitchen items on-site
  • Preparing, cooking and serving foods 
  • Maintaining food/serving equipment within parameters of applicable food safety guidelines
  • All aspects of sanitation and cleaning as relevant to catering events
  • Communicate and attend pertinent meetings and training sessions with food, food administration or other departments 


Requirements:

  • Kitchen experience, preferred but not required 
  • High level of accountability, responsibility, and attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to help wherever needed
  • Reading and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, changing shifts and weekends based on business demands
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for 8+ hour shifts
