YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)

The Investigator is responsible for protecting the assets of the company by monitoring all gaming activities. Including Table Games, Sportsbook, Slot Operations, Soft Count, and Cage operations.

THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties)
  • Operate CCTV/digital recording programs and/or other surveillance equipment to identify, record, document, and report illegal, non-compliant and unusual activities
  • Observe without limitation casino gaming floor, count rooms, slot zones and cashier cages for irregular activities such as cheating or theft by employees or patrons, using video equipment
  • Maintain close surveillance on gaming, non-gaming areas and other activities via electronic monitoring systems, observing both guest and employee activity to maintain integrity of games, company assets, state gaming regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Answer multi-line telephones; communicate via multi-channel radios, and respond to special requests from the casino for surveillance observations of suspected or known incidents of employee, patron or vendor misconduct
  • Report all violations that are illegal and suspicious to supervisors and/or the appropriate regulatory authorities both verbally and in writing
  • Perform other duties as assigned

MUST HAVE'S
  • Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma
  • 6 months Casino Surveillance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of table games, slot, cashier and count room functions
  • Knowledge in protection of casino games and casino operations.
  • Knowledge of surveillance video equipment and applications.
  • Good dexterity is needed for operation of camera controls including without limitation keyboards and joysticks
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, written and telephone communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including without limitation Microsoft Office suite of products and applications
WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE'S
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
THE WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Ability to observe, in detail, video in a camera monitor and/or on a computer screen for long periods
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, light (including flashing lights), and pet dander/hair
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, and maintain physical stamina and mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
  • Work is sedentary in nature, requiring long periods of viewing computer screens in a regulatory environment
