Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Graphic Designer I to join our Design and Development Team team located at the WinStar World Casino and Resort working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
The Graphic Designer I plays a key role in creating visually compelling content to support the Chickasaw Nation's Training and Career Development initiatives. This position requires advanced skills in graphic design, including conceptualization, layout, typography, and digital production, with a deep understanding of branding and cultural sensitivity. The Graphic Designer I collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver creative solutions that align with the Chickasaw Nation's goals and identity.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
  • Maintain brand standards in print and digital design assets
  • Plan concepts by studying information and materials
  • Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concept
  • Design collateral materials, including direct mail, ads, magazines, postcards, newsletters, flyers, invitations, and other collateral as needed
  • Manage tasks through digital project management tools
  • Prepare press ready files to send to printer
  • Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
