Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst to support the collection, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence. This role is ideal for an early-career cybersecurity professional looking to build hands-on experience in threat analysis, intelligence reporting, and security operations support under the guidance of senior analysts.
The Associate Analyst will focus on tactical intelligence, indicator handling, and research while developing a deeper understanding of adversary behavior and organizational risk.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and triage threat intelligence feeds, alerts, and advisories from internal and external sources.
  • Assist in the analysis and validation of indicators of compromise (IOCs) such as IPs, domains, hashes, and URLs.
  • Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) research on emerging threats, malware, and threat actors.
  • Support senior analysts with intelligence reports, threat briefs, and daily/weekly summaries.
  • Map basic adversary activity to frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK with guidance.
  • Provide tactical threat intelligence support to SOC and incident response teams.
  • Maintain and update threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and indicator repositories.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews by researching relevant threat activity.
  • Document findings, processes, and lessons learned.
  • Continuously develop technical and analytical skills through training and mentoring.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, SOC, incident response, or related roles
  • Foundational understanding of cyber threats such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and credential abuse
  • Experience analyzing IOCs, TTPs, and campaign data
  • Strong curiosity, analytical mindset, and attention to detail
  • Ability to clearly document findings and communicate with technical teams
