Established in 1986, United States Alliance Fire Protection, Inc. is a financially strong contractor dedicated to saving lives and property through the life-safety systems we install and service. Fire Alarm Installation and Service
The function of this position is to provide reliable, high-quality customer support through on-site inspecting, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing fire alarm equipment as well as conducting preventative maintenance services pertaining to many different manufacturers' equipment.
The pay range is $30-$45 / hr., depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Responsibilities
  • Personal organization is necessary to meet deadline-driven tasks in a timely manner
  • Communication skills for customer interaction consistent with USA Fire's stated Purpose/Mission/Values
  • Conduct installations, inspections, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems per NFPA standards
  • Ability to assist in the sale and design of Fire Alarm Systems

Job Qualifications
  • General computer knowledge and skills
  • Programming certifications in: Gamewell, Silent Knight, and/or Fire-Lite, a plus but not required
  • Ability to verbally communicate clearly on job sites and in construction meetings
  • Ability to safely navigate construction sites unescorted
  • Safely climb ladders
  • Wear standard personal protective equipment as required by the USA Fire Safety Manual and OSHA on construction sites
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and work on overhead equipment.
  • Prospective Employees must submit to and pass a Background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Required Experience
  • Advanced operational knowledge of fire alarm systems
  • NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems
  • Familiarity with the basic operational knowledge of fire alarm systems
