Job description

Who We're Hiring:
We are searching for a BIM Manager to join our growing team! The BIM Manager will lead BIM processes for the company while collaborating cross-functionally across the organization.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee the overall development, implementation, and management of the BIM, VDC, Coordination, and Shop Drawing processes for Gamewell Mechanical projects.
  • Lead the department to the success of projects contributing to overall company success.
    • Establish and enforce GMI standards ensuring consistency that aligns with industry standards and project specific requirements.
    • Implement and supervise quality assurance process for BIM models and project deliverables.
    • Manage department resources to ensure deliverables meet project deadlines and quality standards.
    • Monitor and track department effectiveness and efficiencies by updating, implementing, and training the latest innovation, BIM technology, and best practices.
  • Provide support to the estimating and preconstruction groups through bid processes as required.
  • Collaborate with project teams to contract and coordinate delegated tasks.
  • Oversee output of deliverables to prefab shop and field teams ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality.
  • Grow and maintain customer and owner relationships.
  • Optimize and leverage the specialized knowledge of GMI's VDC subject matter experts.
  • Promote the GMI core values:

    • Integrity
    • Humility
  • Contribute to the overall TEAM effort of BIM Team and Gamewell Mechanical.

What You'll Bring:
  • Understanding of mechanical and plumbing systems and their integration within BIM models.
  • Experience in Revit, Navis, BIM360, Plant3D, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Bluebeam, and other softwares.
    • Procore or other client software for project reporting and submissions.
    • Communication and collaboration with others via email, voice, and in-person meetings.
    • Teams or Zoom to conduct and attend meetings.
  • Experience in coordination and shop drawings development with mechanical subcontractors.
  • Experience with Design Development from the Qwner and Engineer of Record is preferred
  • Experience in Pharma/BioTech Industry with BIM and/or VDC is preferred
  • Leadership abilities to guide and mentor team members.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Team Member and others within Gamewell to establish SOW, deadlines and meet commitments provided internally and external to Gamewell
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical and process related issues in BIM workflows.
  • Commitment to staying updated in BIM technology and industry trends.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
    • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
