Summary
The AI Analyst supports the design, development, and deployment of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to solve business problems for clients and internal teams. This role combines data analysis, AI model development, and consulting support to help translate business needs into practical AI-driven solutions. The AI Analyst will work within Hartman’s Data/AI service line supporting a portfolio of client engagements related to prompt design, tool testing, and prototype creation.

Responsibilities

Model Development & Testing

  • Assist in building, training, and validating machine learning models.
  • Support development of predictive models, NLP systems, or automation tools.
  • Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and validation methods.

AI Solution Development

  • Contribute to development of AI-driven applications or prototypes.
  • Work with engineers to deploy models into production environments.
  • Support integration of AI solutions with client systems and workflows
Business & Client Engagement
  • Translate business requirements into analytical and AI use cases.
  • Assist with client workshops, presentations, and demonstrations of AI solutions.
  • Document methodologies, results, and recommendations.

Research & Innovation

  • Stay current with developments in AI, machine learning, and generative AI.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and thought leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis or IT related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience preferably in data analysis, business process improvement with a background experimenting and working hands-on with AI tools
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools like Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT or Power Automate
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate technical findings into business insights
  • Background in consulting and/or professional services preferred but not required
