Job description

Job Summary

The UX/UI Designer IC2 supports the creation of intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent digital experiences for web and mobile products. This role works closely with product, engineering, and design partners to translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs. The designer contributes to usability improvements, design system consistency, and user-centered solutions while continuing to build depth in UX methods, interaction design, visual design, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Requirements
  • Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate design intent.
  • Typically requires 1-3+ years of UX/UI, product design, visual design, or related professional experience for an IC2-level role.
  • Support user research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, synthesis, and documentation of findings.
  • Apply UX principles to improve navigation, task completion, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
  • Design clean, consistent UI layouts for responsive web and mobile experiences using established brand and design system standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and iterate on solutions.
  • Prepare design specifications and partner with development teams to support accurate implementation.
  • Use feedback, product metrics, and usability findings to refine designs and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain organized design files and contribute reusable components, patterns, and documentation to the design system.
  • Communicate design decisions clearly and participate in reviews with peers and cross-functional partners.
  • Portfolio required, demonstrating design process, problem solving, wireframes, prototypes, visual design work, and outcomes or learnings.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG and responsive design best practices.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
