Overview
TRC is currently hiring a Distribution Field Technician to assist with inspecting power distribution poles for our clients. This position will be working within our Power Distribution Engineering team and a part of our growing Power Sector.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for performing visual inspection of overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities and equipment, compilation field data collection, minor work order preparation, and maintenance reports of distribution equipment.
Provide assistance with storm damage assessments to OH and UG distribution structures and equipment for areas in and out of state.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Familiarity with National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) or utility experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of computers and software applications desired (MS Office products) preferred
  • Clean and valid Driver's license required

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
