Job description

Montana's Best Casinos is looking for a motivated and outgoing Lounge Floor Runner to join our team. We immediately create a comfortable, fun environment for our guests to enjoy. We take great pride in knowing every one of our guests by name, along with knowing and taking care of all their needs without them even having to ask. We are service aficionados.
As a Lounge Floor Runner, you will:
  • be accountable for the following areas: exceptional customer service, cash handling, and accounting, operating a cash register, stocking, pricing, rotating, and displaying bar inventories, housekeeping inside and outside of the casino, and efficiently mixing, and completing drink orders.
  • remember regular customer's names and faces and monitor legal age requirements, wait on customers playing games and at the tables, clean and keep bar furniture neatly arranged and suggest selling and helping customers with gaming machine operations.
  • wear the uniform and keep your appearance neat and clean, answer and screen telephone calls, greet customers, verify that customers are of age, and take orders.
  • clean restrooms, dusting, windows, and floors, emptying trash cans, and dishes, cleaning tables, and messes of others.
  • accurately make change and account for large amounts of cash, be responsible for stocking, pricing, receiving, and rotating of bar products and supplies, including changing out kegs.
  • need the ability to use a fire extinguisher and other safety equipment, understand the safety manual, and complete casino restroom logs.
  • advise the manager of any personnel situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on casino operating performance, call maintenance person or gaming Machine Company to repair machines or assist with changing the paper or ribbons, and change tape (paper) in gambling machines.
  • fill glasses of beer from the tap, ability to serve wine, mixed, bottled, and draft beverages, distribute drinks to customers, and pick up empty glasses, pitchers, cans, bottles, and litter, fill and carry buckets of ice from icemaker to bar, change out soda premix syrup boxes, change taps on kegs of beer and remove empty kegs.
  • vacuum lounge floor, mop and sweep floor behind bar wash glassware and clean bar/work area, and arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
  • handle disruptive customers in a professional manner, properly document incidents on an incident report, communicate with the manager on products that need to be ordered, plan bar menus, create drink recipes, order and requisition liquors and supplies
  • serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar, make change, receive payments for drinks, retail sales, etc., operate cash register, and tally transactions.
  • assist patrons with verifying wins; records and make payouts to gambling machine winners, and accurately and effectively complete shift paperwork, balance tills, and cash receipts.
  • complete any other duties as assigned by management.
