Game Farm Managers are responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of game farms, which are properties dedicated to breeding, raising, and sometimes hunting wildlife such as deer, birds, or exotic animals. Their duties typically include maintaining animal health, managing habitat, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulations. They also supervise staff, coordinate breeding programs, and may interact with guests or hunters. Effective Game Farm Managers combine knowledge of animal husbandry, land management, and business operations. Their work helps conserve wildlife populations and sustain recreational or commercial activities on the farm.

What are some common challenges faced by game farm managers, and how can they be addressed?

Game Farm Managers often face challenges such as managing wildlife health, balancing conservation with commercial objectives, and responding to unpredictable weather or disease outbreaks. Addressing these challenges requires strong planning skills, effective communication with staff and stakeholders, and keeping up-to-date with best practices in animal husbandry and habitat management. Building good relationships with veterinarians, local authorities, and conservation organizations can also help in resolving issues quickly and maintaining a healthy, profitable game farm.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a game farm manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Game Farm Manager, you need expertise in wildlife management, animal husbandry, and conservation, often supported by a degree in agriculture, wildlife management, or a related field. DEEPER THAN BAGELS
Call Your Mother is the Jew-ish deli where Boca meets Brooklyn, grandma-level hospitality meets seriously good bagel sandwiches, and hard work meets face-melting vibes.
Husband-and-wife team Andrew and Chef Dani built Call Your Mother around a simple idea: make scrumptious, nostalgic food and unforgettable experiences without being bougie or taking ourselves too seriously. From our first little farmer's market stand in 2018, to shops across the DMV, Colorado, Chicago, and Philadelphia in 2026, we're spreading carb love all over the map and our ovens are just getting warmed up! We'll take bagels to mars if the locals are hungry up there.
YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF...
  • You'd rather stay active than stare at the clock.
  • You grasp the importance of hospitality. As the folks behind the little-known, very authentic neighborhood Italian restaurant, Olive Garden, like to say: "when you're here, you're family."
  • You're outgoing. You haven't met a stranger, every new person is just a friend you haven't met yet.
  • You're digging our big BIG V.I.B.E.S.(Vibrancy, Integrity, Belonging, Energy and Seize the Moment)
  • You have integrity and take pride in doing the right thing for others, even when nobody's watching.
  • You see this as a team sport without big egos and jump in when a teammate is in need.
  • You think committing a regular guest's order to memory, creating a secret handshake or something as simple as remembering a guest's name is pretty pretty pretty cool.
  • You are a morning person with weekend availability and like to reserve your evenings to spend how you please!

Shall we proceed? If you blurted out an audible "YES INDEED!" then please keep reading.
What will your days look like?
You'll offer guests a heaping helping of good ol' Call Your Mother Hospitality, brew the best coffee in the whole wide world, ring in orders, deliver scrumptious food accurately and with flair, keep the shop looking sparkly clean, be the expert on ALL things Call Your Mother, and lend a helping hand wherever and whenever your teammates are in need. With that being said, every day is a new adventure and each shift comes with a different set of little surprises-which is exactly how we like it.
YOU DON'T NEED BAGEL EXPERIENCE.
Variety is the spice of life and we hire folks with a crazy wide range of backgrounds! Our team is an eclectic mix of restaurant workers, teachers, retail associates, baristas, students, parents, and people working their very first job. The right attitude > a polished resume.
We're building a place where people grind hard, share lots of good (and bad) jokes, and have the chance to make a guest's day through thoughtful gestures and genuine hospitality. Most importantly, we're a culture where members of the squad want to and can shape their futures and grow into fulfilling careers.
If all this mumbojumbo speaks to your soul, we'd love to meet you!!!!
Come Make Somebody's Day (Yours Included): Apply today!
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands for this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reading, and communicating effectively; standing, walking, reaching, bending, and performing repetitive physical movements; lifting up to 50 pounds; and safely operating equipment and tools using manual dexterity. This role also requires working in a fast-paced environment around hot equipment, sharp tools, and varying temperatures, and occasionally working in confined spaces. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation. .
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
Call Your Mother is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We enthusiastically celebrate the diversity of our team and believe that talent, passion, and experience are the only relevant criteria for considering new team members. We provide equal opportunities to everyone who works for us and every applicant. We consider applicants for all positions without regard to sex or gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
