This postion is for the school year. There are 6 shifts for Ohio Football games. There are 16 shifts for Ohio Men's Basketball games. There are also shifts available over spring break for the OHSAA Events. Great opportunity for those looking for hours throughout the school year!

Department Summary
This postion is for the upcoming 2026 Athletic Events season. This position requires being on your feet for periods of time, and working in the weather elements. You will be responsbile for taking payments for customers utilizing the parking lots for Events. This postion will require 4 Saturday shifts, with start times of 6 AM. After the Football season is complete, this position moves on to the MBB ( Men's Basketball ) season.
Job Profile
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Assists with planning and organizing University events, such as speakers, conferences, or campus gatherings. Duties include coordinating logistics, working with vendors, and managing event details to ensure smooth execution.
Level Summary
Performs basic tasks and assists with administrative or operational duties under supervision. Roles are entry-level and aimed at providing exposure to workplace environments.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Limited supervisory responsibilities. May supervise other student workers.
Fiscal Responsibilities:
No budgetary responsibility.
Problem Solving:
Addresses routine, well-defined problems under supervision.
Independence of Action:
Works under close supervision.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicates primarily with supervisor and peers. Collaborates with team members to accomplish tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled for classes at Ohio University, Hocking College, another post-secondary education institution, or a secondary school during the current semester, immediate previous semester, or immediate upcoming semester. Able to follow instructions and complete tasks within deadlines. Basic knowledge of office software and communication tools. Departments may have specific minimum requirements.

Working Condition/Physical Demands:
This role is primarily outside work. Collecting payments and directing cars to designated parking lots for Events. Be prepared for weather that can range from hot to cold, rain, snow etc.
