Job description

Are you into video games, bowling, or karaoke? Are you friendly, and outgoing? Do you enjoy being around people and working in a fun environment? Then you’re the kind of person we’d love to hire!
This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the operation of the Amusement (Arcade) Department.
Please note you must have a High School Diploma or GED to apply.
Ability to work weekends/holidays and closing shift preferred (store closes at 2am).
Essential Duties:
  • During assigned shifts engage customers to determine whether their needs are met.
  • Maintain inventory levels in amusement games.
  • Maintain games and counters clean and visibly attractive to customers’ eyes.
  • Respond responsively, and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
  • Answers phone calls for all general inquiries.
  • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Non-Essential Duties:
  • Conducts alcohol and age restriction control by company policies.
  • Conducts lost and found procedures by company policies.
  • Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
  • Complies and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • One to two years of experience in a hospitality, retail, or entertainment environment.

Work Environment:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
  • The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.

  • 1 hour to play (non-prize) arcade games per week.
  • 90 minutes of bowling per week (shoes included).
  • 1 hour of karaoke/billiards per week.
  • 50% discount on food items per working shift.
  • 1 complimentary beverage per working shift.
