Pay Rate: $16.24 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) is seeking hardworking individuals to assist in elevating the PS&E brands by providing outstanding customer experience to include merchandising standards, product display and inventory accuracy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in customers� purchasing needs while creating an innovative shopping experience.
  • Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
  • Process purchases using POS system while ensuring item accuracy and proper payment handling.
  • Maintain merchandising standards and cleanliness of store/stands.
  • Assist in inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be available to work 50% of games, concerts, and events.
  • Hours include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Customer service and/or retail experience is highly preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions and reports.

REASONING ABILITY:
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to manage stress and defuse potentially stressful situations.
  • Ability to work well with patrons from varied backgrounds.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
  • Ability to learn and use POS system, telephones, and radios is necessary.
