Skip tracer – Account Representative - Investigator

Position Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, talking on the phone, and working on a computer.

Education and Work Experience

High school diploma or greater – Experience in Collections, Auto sales, Auto Finance & Insurance {F&I}, Repossession, Investigations, Social Media...

Duties and Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, or evaluate information from a variety of sources, such as court records, credit header data, and people location software.

Use various location databases and software packages to locate vehicles subject to repossession (automatic license plate recognition software). Work closely with repossession agents to coordinate activities. Manage the repossession process for bank clients. Perform in depth people/vehicle location searches. Proactively monitor accounts and address a variety of issues Make phone contact with customers, field agents, and while skip tracing

Skills Required

The skill sets for this position consists of the ability to speak comfortably on the phone to people you do not know and obtain location information on our persons of interest. A real "gift of gab" goes along way here. You will, based on the information you have gathered, try to determine the locations of that person’s home and place of employment. You will coordinate with agents in the field to determine if your location information is accurate and assist them in locating our client’s collateral. Basic computer skills will be necessary to keep your cases updated and easy for someone unfamiliar with your case to follow along and understand what’s has been done. If you possess strong Administration, Excel, Analytics, Programing or Database skills, we would still like to speak with you.
