Job description

Barbaricum is seeking a System Administrator to support TRADOC G2 mission-critical operations at Fort Eustis, VA. The selected candidate will provide systems administration and sustainment in secure environments to ensure operational continuity.
Responsibilities: * Manage and maintain Windows and Linux-based systems, ensuring operational readiness. * Perform system updates, patch management, and security compliance tasks. * Monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software issues within classified environments. * Collaborate with network engineers and other IT personnel to ensure system integrity. * Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Qualifications: * Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required. * Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted. * Experience administering Windows Server and Linux operating systems. * Knowledge of system security practices, including DISA STIG compliance. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
