Intelligence Specialist

The Opportunity:

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our government every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that.As an intelligence analyst, you use your specialized experience and attention to detail to develop analytic products to give your clients the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to inform our nation's leaders.

As an Intelligence Specialist on our team, you'll help your client understand their mission environment. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you'll explore new data sources, develop effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources. You'll validate information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for senior policymakers. As the authority on your topic, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure.

This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills, and share your methodologies with other analysts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you'll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools.

You Have:

  • Experience with research and analysis

  • Knowledge of geopolitical and strategic technology issues

  • Ability to comprehend complex requirements, ask analytical questions, and find information through open-source or market research to answer those questions

  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience engaging with senior government and military officials

  • Ability to learn and adapt to work multiple problem sets

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interfacing with senior leadership

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
