G.E. Mechanical, LLC. is a full-service mechanical contractor founded in 1984 by Gary E. Forosisky. Over the last 40+ years we have grown into one of the leading mechanical service providers in our region. Our specialties include HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Drain Cleaning, Environmental and Vacuum Truck Services, Emergency Underground Repairs, as well as Septic Pumping and Lift Stations. With locations in both Vineland and Cranbury, we are well positioned to provide 24/7 mechanical services to all of New Jersey, as well as Eastern Pennsylvania, and Northern Delaware. Our customers include a wide variety of building owners, contractors, industrial production facilities, commercial enterprises, municipal and government entities, and property managers. Service Estimator

Position Overview:

The Service Estimator is responsible for supporting daily service operations by coordinating communication between field technicians, Technical Service Leads, and supply chain partners. This role ensures accurate documentation, timely quotations, efficient scheduling support, and smooth workflow throughout the service process.

Responsibilties:

  • Create service estimates to support operations through timely submission of follow up recommendations.
  • Present and communicate service estimates, repair recommendations, and project pricing clearly and professionally to customers and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and vendors to obtain quotations for required equipment, replacement parts, and materials.
  • Assist Technical Service Leads with administrative and operational support related to ongoing service projects.
  • Monitor service progress and communicate updates as needed
  • Monitor accurate entry of service records, labor hours, equipment information, and parts usage into company systems
  • Support scheduling coordination to help maintain efficient field operations
  • Maintain organized records of quotations, purchase requests, warranties, and service histories
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure proper invoicing and job cost tracking

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of procurement and vendor coordination processes
  • Ability to read service reports, equipment specifications, and quotations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in HVAC/R, mechanical services, construction, or a related service industry
  • Understanding of HVAC-R equipment, service terminology, and parts identification
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, vendors, and internal teams
  • Experience with ERP or service ticketing systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
