Senior Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Pathway to Operations Leadership


We're partnered with a national top 200 ENR ranked GC to secure an outstanding Senior Superintendent to lead complex commercial builds across Raleigh for one of the Southeast's most established GCs.


We recently helped a seasoned Superintendent step into a senior role with this business. In joining, he accelerated his path to Operations, secured a package that changed his family's financial trajectory, and embedded himself in one of the most active construction markets in the Southeast.


This is a high-impact field leadership role with a contractor that has been building North Carolina's most significant structures for 50+ years - and is actively expanding its commercial group. You'll have full ownership of field execution, direct access to senior leadership, and a clear runway into Operations and executive-level roles.

What you'll do


  • Take full ownership of field execution from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage subcontractors, self-perform crews, and site logistics across concurrent scopes
  • Drive production, safety, and quality on multi-million dollar commercial structures
  • Partner with the PM and owner's representative to resolve issues and maintain schedule
  • Oversee site safety programs and enforce compliance across all trades
  • Mentor and develop junior superintendents and foremen
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and field documentation with accuracy and urgency


What we're looking for


  • 10+ years of construction experience with 5+ years in a Superintendent role
  • Strong background in ground-up commercial - office, healthcare, civic, or mixed-use preferred
  • Proven ability to run multiple trades simultaneously on fast-paced, complex projects
  • OSHA 30 certified; strong safety culture on and off the tools
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Raleigh–Durham metro
