Job description

This is a start up company. We are looking for Construction Superintendents, Project Mangers, Quality Control Managers, Risk Manager or others with like skill sets.

Must have years of Commercial construction experience

Ideal candidate is someone recently retired who would like to give back to improve our construction industry (building things right the first time....). Also someone who just wants to be involved with something really cool and great a few hours a month

Goals for these individuals will be draft one page summaries (text, pictures', charts, pictograms, etc.) or incidents, claims, near misses, etc. claims or impacts from Construction Warranty and/or Completed Operations type incidents from Commercial/industrial projects. The completed product will be a one page documents to 'share lessons learned" within the construction industry (be trade - i.e.: electrical, mechanical, building envelope, etc.). 

Role Overview This position focuses on strengthening construction quality performance by developing and distributing high‐value weekly Quality Control (QC) topics to project teams, owners, and contractor partners. The role leverages industry relationships and professional networks to promote the adoption of structured, recurring QC practices that reduce rework and protect schedule performance.

Primary Objective Encourage owners, construction managers, and quality leaders to incorporate contractual language requiring weekly QC discussions—aligned with existing weekly safety meetings—across their projects. When these requirements are adopted, the representative earns commission based on successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create clear, practical weekly QC topics that support field teams in preventing rework.

  • Engage with owners, QC managers, and project leadership to demonstrate the value of recurring quality conversations.

  • Advocate for the inclusion of weekly QC meeting requirements in project specifications and contract documents.

  • Use professional networks to expand adoption across multiple organizations and project types.

  • Track engagement, follow up with decision‐makers, and support rollout of QC meeting programs.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong communicator with experience in construction, quality management, or safety.

  • Comfortable building relationships with owners, CM firms, and QC leaders.

  • Understands the impact of rework on schedule, cost, and project risk.

  • Motivated by performance‐based compensation and measurable outcomes.

  • Must work under a Confidentiality agreement
  • All finished documents will be come property of the company - Content and picture/graph's Releases required
  • Weekly staff meetings (Zoom)
  • Person must be based in USA with USA experiences/lessons learned.
  • We have templets, technical writers - just really need your stories/lessons learned
  • Goal is to product one page lessons learned documents by trade.
  • Goal is to product at least 30-40 different topics next 45 days then produce 20-30 topics per quarter after that (per trade)
  • Must have good written communication skills as well as be familiar with Microsoft Word.
