Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated analyst to join our Foreign Exchange Trading team. In this role, you will engage with senior traders as they build and expand our market making operation across all FX products (Spot, Forward, Basis, Options). You will participate in all aspects of trading activity including pricing, risk-managing, and modeling. You will also interact with our Sales team as they work to expand our client franchise and our Quant team as they work to expand our product offerings. This role requires collaboration among various stakeholders and offers an excellent opportunity to begin a career in Foreign Exchange Trading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute FX trades (spot, forward, basis, options), manage client order flow and trade queries.

  • Analyze global FX markets, macroeconomic trends and relevant data to support market-making activity.

  • Develop risk mitigation strategies aligned with client portfolios.

  • Partner with Sales, relationship bankers, treasury consultants, and credit managers to address client needs.

  • Coordinate with sales, middle office, and back-office teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Support team operations and contribute to a collaborative desk culture.

Compensation:

  • Base pay for this role usually falls within $100,000 - $110,000 and will include an annual discretionary incentive.

  • Your compensation expectations will be discussed with a U.S. Bank recruiter if you are contacted to discuss the role further.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong quantitative ability.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel (VBA), Python, AI Coding techniques, and Bloomberg.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

  • Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow within a dynamic team.

  • 1-3 years of FX market experience.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $81,345.00 - $95,700.00
