Job Title: Shampoo Assistant
Location: Smyrna, GA (Smyrna Market Village)

We pride ourselves on professionalism, cleanliness, and personalized service. Our team values growth, education, and collaboration, and we are looking for a motivated Shampoo Assistant to join our dynamic environment.
Position Overview:
As a Shampoo Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience for our clients and supporting our stylists. This role is ideal for individuals currently enrolled in cosmetology school or with prior salon experience, and who are passionate about hair care and eager to grow in the beauty industry.
Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients warmly and escort them to the shampoo area
  • Perform shampooing, conditioning, and scalp massages according to salon standards. Perform extension takedowns and braid downs for Master Stylist.
  • Assist stylists with preparing clients for services, including blow-drying when needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of shampoo bowls, tools, and workstations
  • Restock towels, products, and supplies as needed
  • Follow all Georgia State Board sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with laundry and general salon upkeep
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
Requirements:

  • Graduating cosmetology student; up to 3 year of salon experience including shampooing and blow-drying hair preferred

  • Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from stylists and management
  • Must adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Schedule:

  • Part-time with potential to grow into a full-time role
  • Tues to Sunday; 16 to 25 weekly
