Job description

Our company includes more than 125 family-owned and operated stores. As a Visual Merchandiser, you are a part of this family and critical to our success. The Visual Merchandiser is critical in ensuring we meet that goal, by implementing the visual merchandising strategy. This person creates appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store. This role reports directly to the Store Manager.

What your day will look like:

·         Responsible for the overall presentation of the showroom

·         Executes floor set changes including new and discontinued items

·         Managers inventory to discourage overages and shortages

·         Assists in fostering an energetic and positive working environment

·         Listens to the customers’ needs and presents possible options

What will help you succeed:

·         Possesses a strong sense of style and ability to create visually appealing displays

·         High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience

·         Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team members

·         Track record of serving others and putting team goals first

·         Owners’ mindset; takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibility

·         Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems
