Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor-trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed. Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to include service interruptions immediately to their supervisor. Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.

  • Drive tractor-trailer to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites.

  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs.

  • Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately.

  • Complete required DOT and company reports.

  • To meet safety standards, you are at least 21 years of age.
  • You must have 3+ years of experience as a driver of tractor-trailer vehicles.
  • Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college, or military technical experience.
  • Ideally, you bring three (3) years of Haz-Mat or Tanker experience.
  • Familiarity with or a desire to learn about cryogenic, compressed, and specialty gases is welcomed.
