In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of a variety of events that support fundraising, donor engagement, employee recognition, community awareness, and inclusive recreation initiatives.The Events Coordinator plays a vital role in helping SOAR365 strengthen community connections, cultivate support for our mission, and deliver exceptional experiences for guests, donors, volunteers, staff, and community partners. Whether through employment, therapy, respite, or recreation, we're proud to help people of all abilities thrive.We are also proud to be recognized as an Employer of Choice, offering competitive benefits, professional development opportunities, and a supportive environment where employees feel valued, empowered, and connected to meaningful work.Key Responsibilities & DutiesIn this role, you will be responsible for:Planning, coordinating, executing, evaluating, and reporting on all assigned SOAR365-sponsored events.Managing one major fundraising event as well as donor, staff appreciation, awareness, and community engagement events from start to finish.Developing event goals, strategies, and outcomes in partnership with the Director of Annual Giving.Managing all event logistics, timelines, budgets, contracts, licenses, and required documentation.Monitoring event performance and regularly reporting progress toward goals and objectives.Building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and community partners.Utilizing fundraising, event management, and database software to maximize event effectiveness and engagement.Collaborating with the Marketing & Communications team to develop event materials and meet project deadlines.Supporting Human Resources by coordinating the annual Awards Banquet and employee appreciation events.Partnering with Facilities and Program teams to ensure successful event execution.Coordinating PARK365 inclusive play events in collaboration with community organizations and nonprofit partners.Supporting event committees by helping define responsibilities and providing ongoing guidance and resources.Recruiting, engaging, and supporting volunteers and interns in meaningful service opportunities.Providing staff leadership for the Next Generation Council's membership recruitment, events, and fundraising initiatives.Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements & QualificationsQualified candidates will:Hold an Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Have at least five (5) years of experience in event planning and coordination.Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.Be effective in working with diverse staff, volunteers, vendors, community partners, and stakeholders.Thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment while managing multiple priorities.Have experience with event management, email marketing, and database software (preferred).Be comfortable and proficient with Microsoft Office and other workplace technology.Be able to travel to off-site locations and community events as needed. Hours & ScheduleThis is a full-time, exempt position.
