Fund Finance Associate Attorney (Mid-Level)

Location: Los Angeles, Charlotte, Chicago, or New York

Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Associate with 3 to 5 years of experience to join a prestigious Am Law 100 firm and support the Fund Finance and/or Leveraged Finance practices. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in secured and unsecured lending transactions, particularly in fund financings, acquisition financings, leveraged finance deals, bridge loans, and other complex domestic and cross-border financings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent banks, funds, and financial institutions in fund finance, acquisition financings, and leveraged finance transactions.

  • Handle complex secured and unsecured lending transactions in both domestic and cross-border settings.

  • Engage in syndicated and bi-lateral financings and bridge loans.

  • Provide strategic advice on fund finance and private credit transactions.

Qualifications
  • Education: J.D. from a top-tier law school.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in fund finance, leveraged finance, and private credit.

  • Skills: Strong academic credentials, with excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills. Experience handling complex financing transactions is required.
