This role is intentionally designed for an advisor who wants to grow into leading client relationships, contributing to revenue growth, and developing into a long-term leader and potential equity owner within the practice โ€” not a service-only position. Over time, the AFA will assume increasing responsibility for existing clients while helping expand the firm through new relationship development.

About the Practice

We serve a loyal client base with a strong emphasis on comprehensive financial planning, coaching, and long-term relationships โ€” not transactional sales. Our culture is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and client-first. We focus on continuity, trust, and developing advisors who want to build a lasting career within one practice.

Client Relationship Development & Ownership

  • Partner with senior advisors in client meetings and progressively take the lead on client relationships

  • Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance for clients

  • Work closely with advisors and staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree
  • Minimum of 3+ years of client-facing financial services experience

Preferred

  • Fully licensed (Series 7 & Series 66) preferred โ€“ the practice will sponsor and support licensing for the right candidate if needed.
  • Washington Life & Health preferred
  • Ameriprise experience, (not required)

Professional Strengths

  • Strong relationship-builder who enjoys working directly with clients
  • Organized, detail-oriented, empathetic, and confident
  • Comfortable engaging new clients and growing relationships

Career Mindset

  • Seeking a long-term role with increasing responsibility and partnership potential
  • Thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial practice environment

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: Competitive starting range of $85,000โ€“$95,000 (commensurate with experience)
Performance-Based Bonuses: Uncapped earning potential tied to client growth, planning activity, and revenue contribution, and potential equity ownership.

Benefits Include:

  • Health insurance
  • Simple IRA retirement plan
  • Paid time off and paid holidays

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, standard business hours (no evenings or weekends)
Work Environment: In-office with limited hybrid flexibility after training period
