Job description

Finance Associate

Location: Norton Shores, MI
Compensation: $24.00-$30.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Flexible hours: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Our client is a growing organization with over 100 employees. The team offers a collaborative environment where employees have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Process biweekly payroll for a multi-state workforce using ADP Workforce.
  • Reconcile payroll records, verify employee hours, and ensure payroll documentation is accurate for tax reporting and audit purposes.
  • Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, ACH payments, check runs, and 1099 reporting.
  • Maintain accurate financial records by posting payable transactions and verifying supporting documentation.
  • Assist with payroll and accounts payable reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements.
  • Support the finance team with additional accounting duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Experience with payroll processing or a willingness to learn payroll responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential financial information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ADP Workforce.
  • Multi-state payroll experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • ERP implementation or system relaunch experience is a plus.
