Job description

Founded in 1991, Zwicker represents lenders in various consumer and commercial recovery efforts and litigation. Zwicker is headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, and has office locations across the United States.
The Finance Associate performs day-to-day financial tasks, such as account reconciliations, journal entries, and consumer refunds. This role also involves invoicing, financial reporting, data analysis, and providing support for audits and other special projects.
The hourly rate for this position is $23 - $25.
Responsibilities include
  • Assist with month-end cash posting and ensure all month-end reports are received and accurate.
  • Assist with monthly client audits, including review, interpretation, and reconciliation of individual consumer account transactions.
  • Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and validating financial data.
  • Assist the Director of Finance with the weekly client audits.
  • Assist the Director of Finance with interest recalculations and other adjustments required by state mandates.
  • Participate in financial reporting, data analysis, and ad hoc projects to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across finance operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Experience in accounting, billing, AR/AP, or audit support
  • Experience with financial reconciliations
  • Understanding of invoicing and billing processes
  • Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters, basic formulas)
  • Previous experience with high volume data review
  • Experience supporting month end close
  • Experience with client facing reporting or audit packages
  • Ability to handle special projects involving calculations or regulatory changes
  • Be able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
  • Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
  • Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule
  • Be able to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence

Physical Qualifications
  • Be able to lift five pounds or greater
  • Be able to sit 90% of the workday at times
  • Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
  • Be able to concentrate and use critical thinking
