FUND ACCOUNTING MANAGER - REMOTE - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

OVERVIEW


 Pathway Capital Management is a leading provider of private equity, private credit, and infrastructure portfolio solutions. It manages over $95 billion in assets for clients worldwide. Founded in 1991, Pathway is headquartered in California and has offices in London, Rhode Island, and Hong Kong. 

Pathway seeks a dedicated Fund Accounting Manager to join our growing team.

This position is one of eight Fund Accounting Managers reporting to a Controller.


BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Proficient in using accounting technology and artificial intelligence
  • Supervising and mentoring professional staff
  • GAAP financial reporting, preferably as it relates to investment companies, registered funds, and funds of funds
  • Planning and performing financial statement audits


SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Oversee and monitor the day-to-day operations of the accounting staff as it relates to the Company’s investment funds, including the establishment and ongoing review of the Company’s accounting policies and procedures;
  • Maintenance and development of effective internal controls and procedures;
  • Responsible for producing timely and accurate financial reports and information;
  • Work with the Company’s outside accounting firm on the year-end audit and perform a detailed review of audit reports prior to final issuance;
  • Respond to various investor requests for reports and information.
  • Mentor and develop the Company’s accounting staff.

  • Depending on the experience level, this position is being offered at a salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 with the potential to earn an annual bonus based on performance

  • Southern California candidates only
  • This remote position is one of eight Fund Accounting Managers reporting to a Controller and will require periodic onsite meetings in the Irvine office.
