Position Summary:

Donaldson is a technology driven company, focused on growth through innovation and a customer-centric focus. As a member of our Life Sciences Advanced Membranes Solutions group, you will find yourself at the center of those efforts. Working in Donaldson's Life Science division means directly serving the Medical Device, Vehicle Electrification, and Packaging markets. With a focus on Donaldson's future growth through product development, we intend on creating new solutions to meet our customers' needs and drive revenue growth. We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to lead product development projects from initiation to completion. This is a great role for an individual who is well organized, collaborative, and passionate about driving results in Donaldson's strategic growth area. Qualified candidates must be able toworka hybrid schedule at ourBloomington, MNoffice/facility.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a cross-functional project leader with sales, engineering, quality, purchasing, and operations by holding teams accountable for their commitments, resolving issues and leveraging organizational resources.

  • Collaborate with, support, and influence in a global environment - impacting programs that span multiple regions.

  • Manage dependencies within and across programs.

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate product development projects to ensure smooth transition of programs from concept to production using effective project management methods.

  • Collaborate with team members to proactively assess potential risks to project objectives and timeline.

  • Ensure all key activities and milestones are met for product development programs; allowing reliable, validated designs to be developed.

  • Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end users and management.

  • Promptly bring to attention any significant deviations to plan that are beyond his/her control and recommend corrective action.

  • Develop relationships and collaborate with other business units and PM team on process improvement and process maturity.

  • Support optimization of product release process

Travel: Up to 5%

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, project management skills, and fluent with project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools

  • Presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels

  • Competencies needed: initiative, collaboration, global cross-functional team leadership, influence without authority, process-oriented, results-driven and organizational awareness

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical aptitude required

  • Presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels

  • Technical degree in engineering or related field

  • Experience managing innovation projects

  • PMP, or other program management certification

  • Demonstrated experience in developing, optimizing, and administrating formal engineering change processes and product development/release processes

  • Medical device manufacturing company experience (ISO 13485 or similar)

Relocation:This position is not eligible for relocationassistance.

Annual Salary Range:$86,200-$111,000. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.
