FourFront Design Inc is looking for a Project Manager in the Architecture & Engineering (A/E) industry to join our professional team. This engaging position works closely with clients, subconsultants, and interdisciplinary team members to provide non-technical management responsibilities for services in the planning, execution, delivery of design, and ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements for commercial, federal, and municipal clients throughout the nation. Our work is primarily in the federal sector, and a large percentage of our projects are VA healthcare or related project types. Experience in federal projects is desired but not required. This position is remote (with in-office options based on location) and travel required. Pay wages:

$80,000 - $120,000 annual (depending on experience and qualifications)

Benefits:

Paid vacation/sick accrual, 13 paid holidays, health, vision, dental, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid parental leave, and continued education options. Details will be discussed during offer.

Shift:

40 hours per week. Standard workdays and hours of FourFront Design Inc are Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM and Friday 8 AM to 12 PM. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Flexibility in schedule is considered if job duties are satisfactorily met.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
  • Minimum Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and prefer experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in project management, preferably in A/E, construction, or engineering design experience.
  • Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing assigned tasks neatly and accurately.
  • State issued driver’s license.
  • Effective communication skills, problem solving, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Office, Adobe, Deltek Ajera) and familiar with CAD/BIM tools, and industry-specific software are preferred.
  • Preferred government and Veteran Affairs (VA) experience but not required.

Duties:

  • Project Planning and Management, including consulting with the client, understanding contractual commitments and expectations, milestones, progress monitoring, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Manage scope, budget, and schedule for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Assist with preparation of proposal and qualifications packages, conduct business development activities with direction.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and project-specific requirements.
  • Exhibits high-level communication skills to communicate effectively with cross-functional teammates and clients.
  • Liaise with clients, executives, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and address concerns.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, finance, and consultants.
  • Attention to detail and a growth mindset with an openness to feedback and improvement.
  • Solution-oriented, positive, and a self-starter.
  • Ability to work independently and is comfortable with a work-from-home arrangement that includes a dedicated home office space that is free of distractions and presents a professional image with high-speed internet availability.
  • Travel and site visits are required. Travel via airline or vehicle is required.
  • Complete company-required drug test; completion of a background check and fingerprinting may be required by client.
  • Must be able to work in the United States.
