Position Summary:

The SAP MDG Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Functional Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions supporting Enterprise Asset Management master data within a federal SAP S/4HANA environment. This role partners with government stakeholders, functional teams, and technical resources to establish standardized governance processes for enterprise asset master data, improve data quality, and ensure consistent master data across integrated SAP landscapes. The consultant supports end-to-end implementation activities, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Lead business process workshops and requirements gathering sessions to define Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) master data governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to document business rules, map master data workflows, and design Enterprise Asset Management master data models.
  • Configure SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) for Enterprise Asset Management, including data modeling, UI FPM modeling, and process modeling.
  • Configure Change Request workflows, validation rules, and derivation rules utilizing Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF+).
  • Design and implement governance processes supporting enterprise asset master data, including equipment, functional locations, maintenance bills of material (BOMs), maintenance task lists, and maintenance asset hierarchies.
  • Configure the Data Replication Framework (DRF) to support enterprise asset master data distribution across integrated SAP environments.
  • Support integrations utilizing SOA Services, Web Services, and IDocs.
  • Collaborate with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, and technical teams to ensure accurate and consistent enterprise asset master data.
  • Develop Functional Design Documents (FDDs), functional specifications, and configuration documentation.
  • Support data migration, data cleansing, and master data conversion activities.
  • Execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide post-go-live support.
  • Participate in change management, release planning, and deployment activities.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance data governance, data quality, and enterprise asset management operations.
  • Travels on rare occasions to client sites to support on site.
  • Adheres to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years of relevant SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) business processes experience (5–7 years without a Bachelor's degree).
  • Demonstrated experience implementing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions supporting Enterprise Asset Management.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) business processes.
  • Hands-on experience configuring SAP MDG data models, workflows, UI FPM modeling, and Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF+).
  • Experience configuring the Data Replication Framework (DRF).
  • Experience governing enterprise asset master data, including equipment, functional locations, maintenance task lists, and maintenance bills of material.
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations or federal ERP modernization initiatives.
  • Experience facilitating business workshops, gathering requirements, and developing Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
  • Experience working within complex, multi-system SAP environments.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) SAP programs.
  • Experience supporting federal ERP modernization initiatives.
  • Experience integrating SAP MDG with Plant Maintenance (PM), Materials Management (MM), Asset Management, and Supply Chain processes.

  • SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or Plant Maintenance (PM) certification.
  • Experience with Agile implementation methodologies.

Compensation: In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $110,000 – $135,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
