A Functional Medicine Coach is a professional who helps clients implement personalized health and wellness strategies based on functional medicine principles. They support individuals in making lifestyle changes related to nutrition, stress management, exercise, and other areas to improve overall well-being. While they do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, they collaborate with healthcare practitioners to guide clients toward sustainable health improvements. Their role involves motivation, education, and accountability to empower clients in their wellness journey.

What does a functional medicine coach do?

A typical day for a Functional Medicine Coach involves conducting one-on-one or group coaching sessions, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and creating personalized wellness plans for clients. Coaches spend time reviewing client health histories, tracking progress, and providing ongoing support through goal-setting and accountability. Administrative tasks, such as documenting sessions and communicating with other team members, are also common.
