A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic

Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Identify, analyze, and validate stakeholder needs and process.
  • Provide support and training to stakeholders (particularly HR) to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Configure, review, and maintain Workday system, including business process design, security, and audit implementation.
  • Assist in defining objectives, scope, timelines, phases, milestones, and in establishing budgets for HR platform projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Projects and Continuous Improvement

  • Work on projects impacting multiple teams or departments.
  • Create and maintain process flow, configuration, operational, and user documentation.
  • Identify opportunities and areas for business process improvement to drive value and increase efficiency within technology tools, while ensuring data quality, consistency, and standardization.
  • Monitor new features released by Workday and recommend appropriate adoption and deployment plans.

Data and Analytics

  • Document business and functional requirements, translating them into technical specifications while incorporating data governance and data quality rules (validation, standardization, controls).
  • Establish and monitor data quality metrics, produce regular analysis, and collaborate with HR teams to improve data entry and data management practices.

Governance and Security

  • Ensure compliance with existing security policies regarding data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
  • Identify and document integration requirements for applications within Workday, and ensure data consistency and alignment across systems (payroll, finance, IT).
  • Participate in root cause analysis of data flow issues, recommend and implement sustainable solutions, including automated controls and preventive mechanisms.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years' experience as a HR IS Business or Functional Analyst
  • At ease on Data Quality topic, analysis and audit
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, HR or related field
  • Workday knowledge
  • PMI-PBA certification, an asset
  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize information
  • Ability to influence and negotiate
  • At ease and autonomous in a growth environment
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail and good judgment are a must
  • Experience in the Transport/Logistics sector, an asset
